Welcome to the City of Dixon, California! Thank you for visiting our new website! I have been the city manager since June 30, 2008 and I am very happy to serve Dixon’s residents and businesses. Dixon has a real strong sense of community and its current general plan outlines its future growth for job generation sites (retail, commercial, and industrial) and for new residential neighborhoods. Economic Development and Business Retention is very important to the future of the City. Ensuring a high quality of life for residents is equally important. My role as city manager is to effectively manage city operations/departments given the policy directions from the Dixon City Council. Dixon is a full service city that operates police, fire, public works, recreation, engineering, economic development, community development, finance, city clerk, sewer treatment, and water treatment (in a partnership with Solano Irrigation District) services.
