The General Plan Advisory Committee comprises a panel of individuals from the City of Dixon who are selected by the City Council to assist the City during the General Plan Update.
The committee will represent a broad range of people with a diverse set of skills and interests. The group serves a significant role as a liaison between government and the community, ensuring a successful execution of the General Plan Update.
April is a significant month in Dixon. Not only will the April 2 and April 3 General Plan meetings be filled with information for the public, but your attendance may give you the opportunity to become a member of a contributing board.
The City is planning to select individuals to comprise a General Plan Advisory Committee for the City of Dixon. Persons interested in this opportunity are asked to attend the meetings which are to be held on April 2nd at the Senior Center and April 3rd at the Fire House.
Community participation and feedback is important to ensuring Dixon’s historical roots are preserved while its future is also being built.
